01

Who can take part

  • Only students of Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology (ASIET) can take part.
  • Every team has exactly two members, both from ASIET. No solo entries, no teams of three.
  • Carry your college ID. You may be asked for it during the event.
02

Registering

  • Registration’s closed. If your team has a pass, see you on the night.
  • It’s ₹399 per team of two.
  • The form asks for your team’s name and the team lead’s details, including a µLearn ID (MuID) with a public profile.
  • By registering, you agree to follow these guidelines, the campus rules and the organising committee’s instructions, along with the Terms of Service and the Code of Conduct.
03

The night

  • BOO! 2026 is on 24 October at ASIET, Kalady. The doors open at 5 PM, and it runs overnight into the morning of 25 October.
  • Stay with it through the night, and follow the schedule as it’s announced.
  • Food is on the organisers: dinner, late-night snacks and coffee.
  • There’s no accommodation and nowhere to sleep. If you need somewhere to stay before the event, that’s yours to arrange.
04

What to bring

  • Your own laptop and charger, and any other accessories you’ll need.
  • Whatever hardware or tools your project needs.
  • Your college ID. And your teammate.
  • We’ll get you on the Wi-Fi at check-in.
  • Your things are yours to look after: you’re responsible for your own belongings and equipment.
05

What you build

  • Pretty much anything: software, AI, games, hardware, robotics, electronics, weird experiments.
  • There’s one prompt, and the trailer explains it.
  • Your project has to be built during the hackathon. A project that existed before it can’t be submitted as original work.
  • What your team builds belongs to your team.
06

Submitting

  • Submit before the deadline the organising committee announces. It’s in the morning, and it’s a hard one.
  • A submission is your repo, your pitch deck and a live link.
07

Judging

  • Projects are judged on innovation, functionality and presentation.
  • The jury comes to your table for a live demo, a look at your code, and a few questions.
  • The judges’ decisions are final.
  • Everyone who takes part gets a participation certificate, and the winners get prizes, handed out at the closing ceremony in the morning.
08

Conduct

  • Respect your fellow participants, the mentors, the judges, the volunteers and the organisers.
  • Plagiarism, cheating, harassment or disruptive behaviour can get your team disqualified.
  • The Code of Conduct applies all night.
09

Safety

  • Follow the campus rules, the venue’s restrictions and the organising committee’s instructions.
  • Anything unsafe or unauthorised isn’t allowed.
10

If anything changes

The organisers may change the schedule or these rules if they need to, and they’ll tell everyone taking part when they do. Updates go up here on the site and on Instagram.
